Today is flag day in Canada, as it was on this day back in 1965 that the Red Maple Leaf was first raised on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, to officially designate this as our official Canadian flag. Not without its controversy, but after 46 years, The Red Maple Leaf is truly our nation identity andfilled with pride.
